Hellooooooo

Hi!! Is this community still alive? :)

I've haven't been posting on LJ for more than 5 years. Today someone commented on a small S&G fic I had written over a decade ago and they asked me — "would you write another?" and from one moment to the next, I am considering it???

Hope everyone is doing alright!

I was the user with the username mentioning the Mattachine Society, I decided to make another account. Don’t know how long I’ll keep it or how active I’ll be, but whatever

SLASH Stranger to Stranger - Chapter 11

Title: Stranger to Stranger – All in Good Time
Author: Wiwik
Pairing: Simon & Garfunkel
Rating: NC-17
Summary: What if they didn’t meet as teenagers, but at a later time? Could you imagine them falling in love again?
Review: Thanks Citizens for Boysenberry jam fans, for the never ending support and inspiration.
Disclaimer: Even though this story is based on several things both Paul and Artie said over the years, this is in no way biographical. It’s an exploration of an alternative timeline.

Here's the 11th chapter of Stranger to Stranger; sorry it took so long. Still rebuilding an already crooked relationship.

Art

Has anyone noticed that in recent decades Art has a really weird way of talking (at least publicly). In interviews and in his writing he comes across as kind of pompous and grandiose and really fake sounding to me. It seems like some kind of defensiveness, like he's trying to cover up something. He wasn't like that when he was younger. If you listen to him talking or read interviews from the sixties or seventies he sounded just normal.

Thoughts?
